Fun drawing with Calmie

Last month, our team visited an orphanage outside Jakarta that had not received visitors in nearly six months. Together with our customers, we spent the afternoon drawing, colouring, and getting to know the children.

Crayons, Paper, and a Lot of Calmies

We brought paper, crayons, and a few Calmie plushes to pose as models. Within minutes the room was full of yellow, pink, and purple caterpillars in every shape imaginable.

Drawing turned out to be the easiest way to start a conversation. The children showed us their favourite colours, told us about school, and asked plenty of questions about how a Calmie is made.

What We Learned

Small, regular visits mean more than a single big event. We left with a wall of drawings, a list of things the home actually needs, and a promise to come back.

Because sometimes, the smallest toy can create the biggest smile—and every smile matters.
